AUKEY Bluetooth Speaker

There are a lot of Bluetooth speakers on the market, ranging in price from $5 all the way up to $300 or more, some speakers offer fantastic sound and some, well not so much. Choosing a great speaker does depend on a few factors, 1) PRICE, lets face it price is a deciding factor and no one wants to spend a lot of money on an item just to be disappointed, 2)POWER, how long play back time is and how loud it gets, 3) SOUND QUALITY, no one want s a crappy sounding speaker and 4) PURPOSE, where are you planning on using the speaker. The AUKEY Bluetooth speaker is very well priced for what you get, it has a 2600mAh battery that will give you up to 30 hours of playback time, the sound quality is excellent and it can serve you well in many different scenarios. This speaker is most likely the one that you are looking for!
There is an ABS rubber coating that protects the speaker from falls and the coating does have a grippy feel to it so it will not move around from the vibrations of the music, on the top the buttons are pretty big and have a nice tactile feel to them when pressed, you have the volume up and down buttons which double as the track skip, the phone button, power button and menu button. On on side you have a hard plastic loop which you can put a rope or carabiner though to hang it or attach it to whatever you like, the opposite side is where you will find the charging port, AUX port and the reset button, on the bottom you will see a tripod mount, this is nice to have because you can mount it on a tripod to elevate the speaker letting the sound waves travel better for a better overall sound.
Once you turn the AUKEY Bluetooth speaker it goes straight into pairing mode, once you pair the speaker it will automatically connect to that device every time you turn both of them on. In my yard I was able to easily get and keep the Bluetooth connection at 33 feet, in my house I was able to get 30 feet before I noticed that the signal degraded, that is pretty much normal considering the signal has to go through walls and electrical wiring. The bass was solid, delivering a nice thump without sounding "muddy" the mid range was crisp and strong, a tiny bit too strong but most people will never notice and the high end(treble) was crisp and clean, no ear piercing tones at all. At full volume on both the AUKEY Bluetooth speaker and my Lumia 640 I easily heard the music past 40 feet, I even heard it while I went into my house, so this little speaker does push out a lot of power.
There are two 5 watt drivers inside this cool speaker so for small to medium sized parties, BBQ's or yard work this speaker will deliver quality sound at high volumes. Now if you happen to have a tripod then you can mount the speaker to it and elevate the speaker so the sound waves can travel farther this is ideal if you are having a gathering indoors or out, that is why a good DJ has the speakers up off the ground. The only thing that I can suggest is for AUKEY to use a name for this speaker instead of a model number. Since the design of the grill looks like a bone I would suggest "BONE BOX" or "BONE CRUSHER". To close out this review I have to say that out of the 10 Bluetooth speakers I have(JBL, MPow, JLab, Logitech and BOSE) the AUKEY Bluetooth speaker easily matches the build quality, battery life and sound quality of the higher priced speakers.
