AUKEY wireless sport earphones!

Wireless earphones are something that just about everyone owns. Some have more than one set, it is a good thing to have more than one set of wireless earphones, one for physical activities such as jogging, hiking etc., another for work, and maybe another set for just around the house. Finding a good pair can be like finding a needle in the hay stack. I tried many wireless earphones and some were pretty bad, poor connection, really "tinny" sound and some either failed of fell apart after a weeks use. Then I had the opportunity to review the AUKEY wireless sport earphones, at first the design really caught my eye, the simple curved look was very pleasing, I like the bright green contrast as well.
So I put them on and right away they felt comfortable, the cable was snug against my head but it was not constricting or bothersome, the curved hooks fit around my ears perfectly and the buds themselves fit so well I almost could not tell that they were in my ears. Even when I turned my head from side to side, up and down the AUKEY wireless sport earphones stayed put. I wore these for seven and a half hours, not once did they fall out, yes once or twice I had to push them in a little but honestly what set of earphones does not slip a tiny bit. One thing I will say is this, once you have the AUKEY wireless sport earphones paired to your device turn the volume up all the way on the earphones and use your device to control the volume. The earphones are a bit quiet but that is a good thing, that means less power drain on the battery which means longer playback time.
I did get seven and a half hours of playtime from the AUKEY wireless sport earphones and it only takes two hours to charge them up, not bad at all. Phone calls, for me, were flawless, I heard the caller and they heard me, also I never heard any hiss, static or crackle, there was no distortion either when I turned up the volume all the way on my Lumia 640. I played some B.B King, Metallica, Parliament, Chopin and not once was there distortion, the overall sound was perfect, the bass was strong not muddy, giving a nice thump, the mid range was crystal clear, vocals were very well pronounced and you can even hear each cymbal hit, the high end, or treble, was crisp not "tinny" just a nice clean sound that rounded off the balance. In my opinion you get excellent quality and fantastic sound in the AUKEY wireless sport earphones.

AUKEY WiFi switch

With technology so prevalent in our lives today having the ability to turn on a lamp, Christmas Tree or even a fan remotely is finally here. Yes you buy some cheap remote but those are limited in range. The AUKEY WiFi switch is different, since it is connected by WiFi you can turn on your lights without even being in your home! It is really simple to set up and you use either your Android or IOS device to control the switch. The app is free and simple to use, pairing the switch to the app is just as simple, you can even add multiple switches to the app and give them their own name so you can tell what switches are being used for.
In the box you get the switch, warranty card and an instruction sheet. In the instructions there is a QR code for Android and one for IOS so make sure you have a QR scanner on your device, scanning the QR code will take you right to the app for you to download. Once downloaded open the app, type in your routers password, plug in the switch, rotate the cover plate right to left(as seen in my video) the app pairs to the switch and you are done. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. Now the two USB ports on the switch have an output of 5 volts at 2 amps plenty of power to charge your devices, even with the switch off power runs though the USB ports so no worries there.
I played with the AUKEY WiFi switch so much I was a bit late posting this review. I tested the switch with a fan, lamp, nightlight, stereo(an older one with a push button power switch), while I was out turned on the switch came home and saw that the switch performed perfectly and I was miles away. Now if I have a touch lamp, for example, the switch will not turn the lamp on, so you may have one or two devices that might not work with the AUKEY WiFi switch, it is not the fault of the switch but just how those devices work. There are many uses for the AUKEY WiFi switch and I am betting that you will have fun finding them. This is a device that everyone should own, either one or multiple it will make things in your home interesting!

AUKEY Windshield/dashboard mount

Looking for a good car mount for your phone can be hard. Either the mounts are too big, not big enough, awkward, cannot get the angle you want, cheaply made and the list goes on. The AUKEY Windshield dashboard car mount is a simple solution. There are no levers to secure the suction cup, a simple twist will do the job. There are not knobs or screws to maneuver the mount into place either, there is a ball joint with a very strong magnet instead. Even though the ball joint has a really smooth motion there is enough tension from the magnet to keep your phone in place. The clip is spring loaded and will hold your phone securely, rubber pads on either side of the clip will not scratch your phone and with my phone(Lumia 640) the pads did not interfere with the buttons.
If your vehicle is like mine a very textured dashboard, AUKEY includes a plastic mounting with a extremely sticky backing. Clean your dash, peel off the protective cover, press the plastic mounting plate onto your dash then mount the car holder to it. Simple and quick. Now if the sticky gel gets dirty simply run in under cold water and let air dry the sticky gel will perform like new. The AUKEY Windshield/dashboard car mount is a low profile mount measuring 3.74 inches high. Having the magnetic ball joint means that you can quickly change the position to the one you like best.
While testing the AUKEY Windshield/dashboard mount I found that I would have to drive over big bumps or potholes for my phone to sag or change positions and I am talking bumps like speed bumps! Now your phone may be different, your phone my weigh more than mine so your results my differ. I like the small design of this phone mount, it does not look ugly or stick out like a sore thumb. It is pleasing to the eye and if you like you can take the clip off and no one will know that it is a phone holder. If you are looking for a low profile, easy to use strong car mount for your phone get the AUKEY Windshield/dashboard mount you will not be dis appointed!

AUKEY 16000 mAh power bank

Power Banks have become an essential piece of equipment today, used for charging multiple devices such as phones, tablets, Bluetooth speakers and many more devices. Finding a reliable one can be a hit or miss, some will last quite a long time others fail within a few months. The AUKEY 16000 mAh dual port powerbank is well built and very reliable. I fully charged and discharged this powerbank five times in my testing and not one has it over heated or failed in any way. I used it to charge multiple devices at the same time using both ports and it performed like a champ, it never decreased in output, both devices charged quickly and efficiently. The built in light is a nice touch, it will help you find your way in a dark room or plug in a cable in the dark. Coming in at 12 ounces it still is quite portable not too heavy at all. It measures 6.5 inches long by 2.9 inches wide and 3/4 inches thick, still small enough to fit in a pocket, bag, briefcase or back pack.
Having 16000 mAh capacity you can charge your device multiple times before having to charge the power bank, depending on the size of your devices battery you are looking at up to nine charges, that is quite a lot of power to have with you. Port one is your standard 5 volt at 2.4 amp the second port is the Qualcomm quick charge port, 5 volt at 2.4 amp, 9 volt at 1.67 amp and 12 volt at 1.25 amp. There is a chip inside the power bank that will sense what your device needs to charge it quickly that is where the different voltage and amps come in. Also built into the AUKEY 16000 mAh power bank is a safety chip what will protect your devices from over heating, over current, short circuits and over charging. You device will be safe even if it is at full charge.
The power button also serves as the charge indicator, if it is white you have 70-100 % charge, if it is green you have 30-70% charge and if it is red you have 0-30% charge. The light in the power button will slowly flash when charging, the same colors will appear when charging and the color scheme is the same. Quite honestly I cannot think of anything negative to say about the AUKEY 16000 mAh powerbank, it is reliable, well built and affordable, this is one device you need to have in your home.

AUKEY Waterproof Bag

Just about everyone now has a smartphone of some kind and we take our phones everywhere. When you go to the beach, on the boat, camping or hiking you want to make sure that your phone stays dry. The AUKEY Waterproof case will do just that. It is made of TPU and made very well. You also get an arm band that is elastic and a lanyard. Using the case is simple just release the two clips, slide in your phone, close the clips and your phone is protected from water and dust. The AUKEY Waterproof case can handle a phone size of 5.5 inches tall by 3 inches wide. In my video I provide a water test to show you that the case is waterproof. I strongly suggest that with any waterproof case you do a test at home first before taking it out in the world.
To test the case open it up and slide in some paper towel or napkin, close the case and submerge the case in water, let it sit there for at least 30 minutes. After your test dry off the outside of the case then open it up to see if the paper towel is wet or dry. Then slide your phone into the bag and submerge it again. There are two reasons for this one is to make sure your phone will fit and no water will get in and the second reason is to see how buoyant the case will be with your phone inside. There is not a lot of air in the case once your phone is in there, so the weight of your phone may be too much for the case to float.
The built in compass does work, it may not be as accurate as the expensive ones but it does give you the general direction of North. While your phone is in the AUKEY Waterproof case you can still use the touch function. I easily scrolled through my phone, watched a video and looked at pictures, the performance is a bit affected underwater but it still works just fine. The AUKEY Waterproof case is definitely worth the money and having you never know when you might need it, keep it in your car, purse, back pack or even in your pocket.
