AUKEY Windshield/dashboard mount

Looking for a good car mount for your phone can be hard. Either the mounts are too big, not big enough, awkward, cannot get the angle you want, cheaply made and the list goes on. The AUKEY Windshield dashboard car mount is a simple solution. There are no levers to secure the suction cup, a simple twist will do the job. There are not knobs or screws to maneuver the mount into place either, there is a ball joint with a very strong magnet instead. Even though the ball joint has a really smooth motion there is enough tension from the magnet to keep your phone in place. The clip is spring loaded and will hold your phone securely, rubber pads on either side of the clip will not scratch your phone and with my phone(Lumia 640) the pads did not interfere with the buttons.
If your vehicle is like mine a very textured dashboard, AUKEY includes a plastic mounting with a extremely sticky backing. Clean your dash, peel off the protective cover, press the plastic mounting plate onto your dash then mount the car holder to it. Simple and quick. Now if the sticky gel gets dirty simply run in under cold water and let air dry the sticky gel will perform like new. The AUKEY Windshield/dashboard car mount is a low profile mount measuring 3.74 inches high. Having the magnetic ball joint means that you can quickly change the position to the one you like best.
While testing the AUKEY Windshield/dashboard mount I found that I would have to drive over big bumps or potholes for my phone to sag or change positions and I am talking bumps like speed bumps! Now your phone may be different, your phone my weigh more than mine so your results my differ. I like the small design of this phone mount, it does not look ugly or stick out like a sore thumb. It is pleasing to the eye and if you like you can take the clip off and no one will know that it is a phone holder. If you are looking for a low profile, easy to use strong car mount for your phone get the AUKEY Windshield/dashboard mount you will not be dis appointed!
