OUTAD rechargeable waterproof lantern

There are a lot of rechargeable lanterns on the market to day, choosing one can be a bit daunting to do. I hope that my review will help you in that decision. The OUTAD waterproof rechargeable lantern offers more than just a light, you get five modes of light, low(which to me is about 50 lumens), High(200 lumens), a red light, flashing red light and a SOS read light mode. You also get a built in 2600 mAh power bank which you can use to charge up your phone or tablet. You can stand the light up on a table or you can hang the light using the D-ring on the top of the lantern. You do not have to worry about using the lantern in the rain or if you drop it in water, the OUTAD waterproof rechargeable lantern is waterproof up to 23 feet, it also floats.
There is a USB cable and wrist strap included. On the high mode I was able to get 8 full hours of light before the lantern turned off, charge time was six hours. The output of the powerbank is 5 volts at 1.2 amps. At 5.6 inches long and 1.5 inches thick you can carry it in your pocket or purse. The OUTAD waterproof rechargeable lantern is perfect to have in your car, hiking, camping or just to have around in case of a power outage. I honestly cannot find any negatives to say about this lantern, I highly recommend the OUTAD waterproof rechargeable lantern to me it is a must have. Watch my video as I test the lantern in water, get one today you will be glad that you did.

The Aukey Studio Microphone

There are a lot of microphones on the market and trying to choose one that not only sounds good but is easy to use is a hard thing to do. The Aukey Studio Microphone does delivery great quality sound and is pretty easy to use. You get everything you need in the box, table clamp, foam wind screen, pop filter, swing arm, shock mount and the microphone. While testing the Aukey Studio Microphone I found that the swing arm was pretty good, it never sagged under the weight of the microphone, it stayed right where I wanted it. Adjusting the angle of the shock mount was easy as well, when I got it the way I wanted I simply tightened the screws and away I went not one did the swing arm or shock mount slip, sag or move. I even bumped my desk and tapped the swing arm and none of those noises made it into the recording thanks to the excellent shock mount.
As I mentioned in the video the foam wind screen does help quiet down your breathing and room wind noise, honestly though I use it for the simple reason that I do not want my spit getting on the microphone, after all we so spit a little when we talk. The pop filter did its job quite well, it stopped all of the harsh "P and Q" noise that usually comes through, depending on how you speak you might have to play with the distance of the pop filter, if you speak strong then the bigger the distance from the microphone the pop filter will be. Also take in consideration the program you use while recording, I use Audacity, for me it is easy to use and does the job.
Taking the price into consideration the Aukey Studio Microphone is an excellent buy, it is a simple, straight forward microphone that comes with all the hardware you need to do a podcast, narration/voice over, record seminars or what ever you plan on using it for. I gave it four stars because I had to boost the volume up some for the video, despite it being a bit quiet it does have a good clean sound to it. It has a nice clean sound as you can hear in the video, this microphone and kit is perfect for beginners and students, is it worth the money. yes it is.

Aukey Dual port car charger

I have several car chargers like most people do, finding one that you like or that works well can sometimes be frustrating. I have purchased some expensive chargers and some cheap ones, some worked very well and some not so much. That all changed when I got the Aukey Dual port car charger. I love this charger, it is made of plastic, not some cheap dollar store plastic but a high grade plastic and it is built sturdy. The charger does not feel flimsy, it does not move or shift, nor does it creak when being handled or placed into your cigarette lighter port.
You will notice that when you slip in the charger into the cigarettes port the nice and firm pressure of the side springs to keep the charger in place, no accidental drop outs here, also there is no light which I like because that means there is no draw on the electrical system when the charger is not in use. There are two USB ports on the face of the charger, the top one is a Quick Charge 2.0 port + AiPower Adaptive Charging port with dedicated 2.4A output and the bottom one is a Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
You also get two cables in the box, one is a USB to Micro USB and the other is a USB to USB C cable. Both cables are three feet thee inches long. That should be long enough for any one, both cables are made from a nice rubber feel type plastic, and pretty thick to, that same type of plastic surrounds the USB connections as well, I found that I had a better grip on the cable with this type of material. At no time during my testing did I notice that the charger got hot, warm yes but not hot. I used three different devices to test the Aukey dual port car charger, they are a Lumia 640, Nexus 7(2013) and an iPod touch 5.
Each device charged perfectly, to be honest they charged faster with the Aukey dual port car charger than with the OEM chargers I got with the devices. The faster charge time did vary between each device but the average time was atleast 15% faster than using the OEM chargers that I got with the devices. That was pretty impressive to me. One thing that I love about the Aukey car charger is that it has built-in safeguards protect your devices against excessive current, overheating, and overcharging, and I do feel confident that no damage will occur to my devices that are plugged into it. The Aukey Dual port car charger is now my main charger that I use, all of my other chargers are sitting in a box in my basement. If you want a reliable and safe car charger get this one now you will thank yourself for doing so.

OUTAD Compression Bag

When I first got the Outdad Compression bag I noticed right away how light the bag is, just over 4 ounces, the material used is a plaid Oxford material. The bag does feel well made and sturdy. I got the large bag the dimensions are 17.7 x 10.2 x 10.2 inches, and let me tell you this bag holds a lot. As seen in my video I was able to put 2 pairs of jeans, 4 t-shirts, 4 pairs of socks and 4 pair of under wear in the bag with room for some toiletries. The bag is washable, though I would always recommend using cold water and a gentle cycle for any bag like this. The plaid design looks to be a rip stop stitch, which means if you get a tear or hole the cross stitch will prevent the tear from getting bigger.
The nylon straps are flexible not rigid so putting some torque on the bag is smooth. The buckles are made from plastic and they help up to me putting quite a bit of torque on them, with the bagged filled and compressed I threw it around, sat on it and kicked it and the buckles held up to the punishment. The Outdad Compression bag seems waterproof as well, I poured some water on the side and my clothes remained dry, There is no rain fly to cover the opening of the bag so be careful not to get the top wet or expose it to rain. This bag is excellent for the price and it is versatile, you can use it for hunting, camping, storing winter clothes.... well you get the point. I have no problems in recommending the Outdad Compression bag to anyone.

Kamisafe KM-8014A flashlight

The Kamisafe KM-8014A flashlight is one of the best lights I have owned. It feels comfortable in the hand, and despite the large head of the light it is very well balanced. The power rating is 3 watts and a voltage rating of 3.7 volts. The Kamisafe flashlight uses one 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery, it is not included but you can get them easily on either Amazon or Ebay, heck you can get them from Sears online as well, just do a search and you will see plenty of places to buy a 18650 battery. The rubber O-ring on the back cap is excellent quality, the light has an IP-X 6 rating, which means it will withstand a mild rain to a down pour, I would not suggest submerging the Kamisafe flashlight for any length of time, if you accidentally drop it in water it should be fine as long as you get it put quickly, that really goes for anything with an IP-X 6 rating.
I found that the tail switch has a nice sturdy click to it when you turn it on and off, there is plenty of travel in the switch to do the half press to switch between modes. There are five modes in the Kamisafe KM-8014A light, High, Medium, Low, Strobe and SOS. Simply turn on the light and half press the switch through the modes until you reach the desired one. The wrist strap is quite comfortable, wide and strong. I have large hands and the loop slipped easily over it, while on my wrist I felt pretty confident that the strap would not slip off my hand. This light projects quite far and is really bright, it also has a halo around the center spot, which is nice because you can see more of the surrounding area without having to move the light off of your subject or direction that you are going to.
I cover more of the light in my video, the specifications and I show you the different modes, all outside and in the dark, well as dark as it gets here in the city. Overall the Kamisafe KM-8014A flashlight is a tough, well built and powerful light, it is great to have in your car, bug out bag, tool box, every day carry(EDC), even just in your house in case the power goes out. The only improvement that I can suggest is that the light have a memory built in to remember what setting you were on when you turned it off, that would be nice but not having that is NOT a deal breaker. I highly recommend you get this light, you will love it.

The AUKEY Super Wide Angle Lens

Having a good camera on your smartphone is fantastic, no longer do you have to lug around another camera, but there are limitations to what a smartphone camera can do. Usually the field of view is not that wide so you stand further back to get what you want in the shot but at the same time whatever you are shooting is smaller. Well the AUKEY Super Wide Angle Cell Phone Lens gets what you want and more into that shot. The lens is a 238 degree field of view lens, basically a fisheye lens, you will notice the barrel affect especially around the edges. What makes this lens great is the fact that you do not get the black barrel affect instead you will get a full frame picture with slight blurring around the edges.
The AUKEY Super Wide Angle Lens is made of a high grade aluminum which feels rock solid and premium made. The glass is crystal clear and has six elements giving you great detail. On the back of the lens where it attaches to your phone there is a nice soft but durable rubber to prevent scratching of your phones lens. The clip is made from a nice flexible plastic with a rubber tip so it will not scratch the screen of your phone. The lens slips right into the clip with ease and is held in place pretty securely. Just do not push too hard or you might break the clip. The clips depth is 1 1/4 inches so it should fit most, if not all, phones.
The lens is big, 1 1/2 inches wide and one inch deep, so you just might need two hands to hold your phone. You also get a cleaning cloth for the lens and a nice soft carry pouch which is nice because some companies do not include those. Taking pictures with this lens will make you take your time and think about the shot, not to mention you have to get used to the 238 degree angle, when first using the lens you most likely see your fingers at the edge of the shot, so before you really use it on your shoot take some practice pictures to get the feel of the lens and how it will feel on the phone. I am impressed on how well this lens performed and how clear and sharp the images are.
None of my devices had any trouble focusing with this lens attached, nor did it slip, slide or fall off of any of the devices. Aukey's attention to detail on this lens is superb, there are no rough edges, no un even angles, just a nice clean professional lens. I have tried other lenses like this in the past and the AUKEY Super Wide Angle Lens blows them all away, incredible sharp images, fantastic point of view and premium components. If you like the extreme fisheye view to capture your surroundings you cannot go wrong with this lens, it is definitely worth the money!

Kamisafe KM-9003 Compact LED Tactical Flashlight

Over the years I have had(and still do) many flashlights, all different sizes and shapes, each one has its own merits but the Kamisafe KM-9003 Compact LED Tactical Flashlight stands out. The flash light is 5 1/4 long and at its widest it is 1 1/8 inches and is made out of an aluminum alloy with a premium type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish. The reflector is smooth not the orange peel type, the glass is crystal clear, I did not see any deformations, bubbles, specks or any other imperfections, Kamisafe also coated the glass with an anti- reflective coating which is a nice touch.
The is a bit top heavy without the 18650 battery, but when you put the battery in the light feels quite balanced in the hand. It has a nice solid feel in the hand, does not feel cheap or loose. There is five modes in the Kamisafe KM-9003 Compact LED Tactical Flashlight, High, Medium, Low, Strobe ans SOS. To operate the light simple press the on/off button on the back of the light, to switch between modes just half press the button until you reach the desired mode you want At its brightest the Kamisafe KM-9003 Flashlight puts out 225 lumens and throws a beam to 300 meters. since I do not have a light meter I am guessing that the medium setting is about 100 lumens and the low looks to be around 25 lumens, the strobe and SOS settings are on full 225 lumens.
The Kamisafe KM-9003 Flashlight also has a waterporoof rating of IPX-6, while I would not submerge the light I tested it with a garden hose. I sprayed it for a few minutes and it was still working, so if you are out in the rain this flashlight will will work with not problems. Now I dropped this light from three feet to see how rugged it is, the Kamisafe KM-9003 Flashlight held up, yes there are some dings, dents and scratched paint but the light works just fine. I do not recommend that you drop your light, but if you want to that is totally up to you. The light takes one 18650 Li-ion battery, you can get these on Amazon, Ebay or sporting good stores.
To test if the Kamisafe KM-9003 Flashlight gets hot, I put in a freshly charged 18650 battery and left the light on for nine hours straight, at no time did the Kamisafe KM-9003 Flashlight get hot, it really did not get warm either. One thing that I really like about this light is it has a nice focused dot of light in the center but it also has a bit of flood light action surrounding the dot of focused light, which is real nice because it lets you see more of the surrounds around the focus point, some lights like this do not do that. The wrist strap is the perfect length, and the loop is big enough to fit around someone with big hands, it feels comfortable around the wrist without feeling to loose or tight.
The Kamisafe KM-9003 Flashlight impressed me with its brightness, build quality, performance and feel. This is my new EDC (Every Day Carry) flashlight. I believe that for the price the Kamisafe KM-9003 Flashlight is one heck of a deal, after you try it I believe that you will get another one.
